Dream catchers we say
take the dreams no one wants
but they never catch mine.
Making nightmares come to play.

In the night I try to keep awake
but sleep overtakes
and the battle is lost
so I lay there
and wait.

And when you come
I won't deny the truth
Never persistent in my life
But, always persistent in my thoughts
and constant in my heart.
I dream of you everyday.

A Planet Lets Go

My world revolved around mass
destruction, spinning out.
no control. no hope.

the planet to my world.
torn wanting to abandon.
but only letting go.

a lesson learned
not appreciated.
now all alone.

my world lacks a planet to call its own.
